Brotextors Slider Resources

Brotectors offers a qualified and an effective service for schools looking to implement mental health and wellbeing support, training and awareness for both staff and pupils. Children spend such an extensive amount of time in the classroom and school environment and the need to develop emotional wellbeing and resilience is key not only to support the pressures of adolescence, social media and school focused anxieties, but also providing a foundation for life long resilience and strategies in which to implement, apply and benefit from. Brotectors offers a range from whole-school awareness to focused group support, examining what is mental health and wellbeing, how to deal with stress and anxiety, how best to support yourself and others, how to develop positive relationships and build resilience with effective and positive strategies and applications. Brotectors also offers a staff training service, which looks to offer staff guidance on how to identify and support wellbeing, implement awareness and good practice into their curriculum delivery. Training is aligned to the recommended guidance, focuses and support by the Department for Education.

‘The aim of teaching pupils about physical health and mental wellbeing is to give them the information that they need to make good decisions about their own health and wellbeing. It should enable them to recognise what is normal and what is an issue in themselves and others and, when issues arise, know how to seek support as early as possible from appropriate sources.’ Department for Education
